She said she loves the way my hand moves,
As hold her face to mine.
And she knows how to make my world stop.
To meet here anywhere, place and any time.
And she is all I know to think about.
As I walk into the morning sun today.
But, this woman could go anywhere, with anyone.
But, thank God… she chose to go with me.

And the Shenandoah, smiles on me.
And holds me in her arms.
And I know where I want to be.
It’s anywhere you are.
It’s everywhere you are.

I spent my youth along the highway.
And I’ve seen God up in the mountains I call home.
And I’ve made peace with all the trappings,
Of a world that’s hard to navigate alone.
And I found rest within the comfort
Of a smile that lights up every part of me.
And now I can move on into another day
Where the world can be as bright as it can be.

And the winds can blow around us
And everything can fall.
Thunder, lightning crash upon us.
I’ll be there through it all.
But, I found harbor in the valley
And peace within your arms,
And I found light within the darkness, and
It’s anywhere you are…
