Wave-crashing sunsets

Standing lines divide my life,
Imagine of a greater time.
Crashing waves in front of my eyes,
And I’d hate to make it down.
I see a sunset in her mind,
Reminds me of the sea inside.
The crash and burn of an empty life
Your life and mine are alike.
