Woke up this morning, I looked around
everything was quiet, not a sound
looked down in my bed, no one there but me
I laid back down and closed my eyes but I could still see
the empty place where he should be
I know he's comin but it's taking him so long to get to me

I've got the soul mate blues
a sad reality I haven't found the one for me
with open arms I'm waiting, where you be?
