1. The eternal spring is hidden,
but I know where the waters have their rise.

2. I do not know of its birth, since it has none,
but I know it gave birth to all this life.

3. I know that nothing else is so beautiful.
The Heavens and earth, drink from its cup.

4. I know there is no measure to its depth
and no one can cross its boundless width.

5. Its clarity cannot be tainted,
and I know all light comes from it shores.

6. Its here calling out to all creatures;
That they satisfy thirst, eternally quench their thirst.

7. I know that its streams are so overflowing,
they water all lands; Heaven and Hell.

8. I know well the stream that flows from the spring,
it is mighty and strong, mighty and strong.

9. The living spring that I long for,
I see it in this bread of life,
