Like a child, I'm reborn into innocence, before this time, my life put up a resistance,
I couldn't find, my place for I was distant, to every chime, as there was no consistence,
just like an alarm, I failed to hear the sirens, where did I belong, if all I saw was silence,
did I come from, a place where life was dormant, until the sun, shone high over the horizon, it's like I'm breathless but I'm breathing in a new found scene,

I felt so old, but young with the agility, to set my goals, and shoot with positivity,
now I've stopped sinking I've got more than hope inside of me,

like in a maze where the exits open randomly,
I'm in a place where I feel I've found stability, as I retrace all my faith like it's my family tree, and now those answers are the ones that love and comfort me,
