THIS IS NOT A LOVE SONG
(Believe it or not it's actually NOT a love song, it's a song about mind control- written in January 2009 by Aallia Andreadis well actually this one is a funny one coz i wrote the music and lyrics separately i rarely do that- I'm not sure which day i wrote the lyrics probably earlier than that; wrote the backing melody on piano MUCH EARLIER around 2005-6 but hated the lyrics so i had scrapped the song but one day i sat on the piano and wrote this early 2009- after it struck me the melody would sound so much more haunting on plucked string- to be honest i just sat on the piano had NO CLUE what i was going to write about and just chose every word PURELY in relation to the syncopated rhythm of the backing melody- a bizarre songwriting experience but in the end it all felt just right)
