Some endings yield to passing signs
Some take you back, to previous times,
It may only take, a lyrical rhyme,
To send you back, to happier times.

Alone late at night, when I'm feeling blue,
I look upon, the life I knew,
I wonder what, became of you,
What mattered to me then, meant nothing to you.

With cause and effect, purpose is served,
With every evil, lessons are learned.
But in the end, the meanings I find,
All live within, the experience behind.

I've loved and lost, been consumed by pain,
Every moment was worth, All I have gained,
Letting it all go is never easy,
Now each journey's end, is part of who I am.
