My hope rests on the rock of Your living word
My world is contained in Your open palm
My life finds Your peace in the eye of the storm

So whenever I stumble, whenever I fall
I know You’ll always be there

Your will, Your word,
Your promise secure sing to me
Of love that is unending
Your hope, Your help,
Your hand outstretched to me, I know
The Alpha and Omega is You

My faith is refined through sorrow and pain
My silent tongue cries out Your saving name
My richest gain I count as loss
My only chance is to take up the cross

The answer is You Lord,
The end and beginning
