All genres of art will be represented at the RAW Showcase in Omaha; including independent film, fashion, music, visual and performing arts, hairstylists, makeup artists and more. Sokol Auditorium is located at 2234 South 13th Street Omaha, Ne. We encourage you to support the creative success of the many talented visionaries in our community who will be presenting their talents. This is a 21+ Event and Cocktail Attire is suggested. Tickets for the event are $10 in advance / $15 at the door.

Q: Jonah, take me through the process of writing "Building the Walls." It's beautiful!
A: Thanks Lisa. "Building Walls" was inspired by people I knew who tended to isolate themselves in an attempt to protect themselves from getting hurt again. Although I had the melody and lyrics done, the song didn't get completed until I began recording. I tried different harmonies on the vocals until I discovered the Pink Floydish style that you hear on the CD. Bill Farber added a lot to the song with his sax and Vicki Whitesell's background vocals became the icing on top. I pray that this song will minister to many hurting people and draw them closer to the One who can heal all of our hurts.
