" I cant get out of where I am. I feel stuck. Like I was put here to stay. But I just push against the walls of containment. With a positive gusto. I'll bust out and then I'll say the times I spent oppressed made me strong. Thats the fukn approach. "

Q: "No Regrets" is a very cool song with awesome acoustic guitar playing. What comes first in the creative process - the rhythms, music or the lyrics?
A: I usually start with writing a vs on guitar. Then I start to sing what I'm feeling. Once I have a solid first vs. I then write a chorus on guitar. Then come the lyrics again. So on, and so forth. With No Regrets it was different. I made a drum beat then drug it out. Then I just started jamming on the beat. The rhythm came first. then I put a bit of lead on it. Once I had a full track I just started free styling vocals over it. After a few runs through I had solid lyrics to sing on it. But the song was born out of a bored solo jam session haha. Thanx for showing interest.
