Bio: Dinero is Spanish for money. Money is American for power. We have little of either, but we’ve got plenty to say about it. Q: How do you interpret the 2nd amendment?

A: Much like the Bible and the Koran, the constitution is interpreted in different ways. Very smart and thoughtful dudes made it to be a living and breathing document and to grow with population and the changes in society. " A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. " very ambiguous , but lets look at it this way. If every U.S citizen (rich and poor, brown and white) is encouraged and expected to do their patriotic duty and sign up for the state militia ...they will be regulated by registering with the state. It doesn't mean that individuals are sovereign nations onto themselves and can stock pile un-registered weapons in their own bunker (private club or church). The founding fathers also didnt want there to be a standing army in peace time...which means that the militia was our national security.
