For the third year in a row, dubious will perform at the Rock N Roll Half Marathon in Portland on May 18. The runners and walkers of this 13.2 mile run will be blessed with rocking bands performing live at every mile marker. We invite you to come out and see us as we entertain a bunch of very healthy urbanites! And this year, G. Love will be the headliner at the Waterfront stage at the finish line! They have given us a nice fat stage this year - come and visit us at Stage B11, on the corner of 26th Ave. and Couch St. We'll be sharing the stage with 5th Elephant (Portland) and dubious will play from about 10am till around 11:30am. Cheer on the runners and the bands - it's ALL AGES and totally FREE. Tell your PDX friends we'll be there!
The Flying Squirrel, one of our favorite bar/restaurants, is celebrating the 2nd anniversary of its opening with a huge bash on May 3rd. dubious will provide the entertainment from approximately 9-12mid. The FS will combine their birthday celebration with Cinco De Mayo bash. There will be drink and food specials. Lots of great people and music. NO COVER. It doesn't get any better than that, right? dubious returns to Saturday Market!
Two sets of dubious starting at 8pm! This is a benefit show for our good friend (and most dubious fan!) Aaron S. who lost his mom at the end of 2013. All band proceeds and sales will go to Aaron and his family to cover funeral expenses. For you, this means 2 sets of FREE dubious music and plenty of food, booze and friends, for a great cause. Can't beat it with a stick, yo. See yous there.
We are pumped for this! dubious returns to Luckey's Cigar Bar to open for the one and only Andy Frasco & The U.N. Within the past 3 years alone, Frasco has trekked over 120,000 miles, performed over 700 shows, spanning over 6 countries. On Ffiday the 13th, he brings his "Party Blues" to Luckey's in Eugene. dubious will open the show with a set at 10pm. Be prepared to dance your ass off all night for only $5 at the door!
