Q: Devil's Backbone, wasn't that a great movie?

A: We haven't seen the movie. The song was written about 3 years ago and is about an area in the texas hill country that goes by the name "devils backbone". The area has a rich history of ghosts and huantings (indians, spanish monks, souls of indians inhabiting animals etc...) that i wrote the song from that perspective. I see you guys are a fan of the swans. one of my favotite bands of the 80's. really like the album " greed ". Saw them on tour in austin in either 91 or 92 and thought they were great but mellower.
