She met producer/musician Billy Alexander in the summer of 2011 and the two began to write and 3 albums later have many nominations and awards with LA Music Awards, LA Music Critic Awards and The San Diego Music Awards. Alaina and Billy wrote the first song on her second album with Ron Blair of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. All three albums are available on iTunes and physical CDs are available at her shows.
Coming up this fall Alaina's song "The Curtain Falls" will be featured in the movie "Mall" directed by Joeseph Hahn of Linkin Park. Rumor has it, it also made the movie soundtrack! Hard to believe she was only 18 when she wrote that song! Some of her other songs have been featured on TV. ABC's The Vineyard, The Today Show, The Last Call, Carson Daly's show, The Hallmark Channel, and The Animal Planet Channel. One of her singles “I’m A Mess” received local radio airplay, and college circuit radio.
Alaina is a season 7 Blind Audition Contestant for NBC's The Voice and was honored to be named an Artist To Watch in a CBS Los Angeles article. In the last year and a half she has supported some great artists, Jonny Lang, Macy Gray, 3 Doors Down, Aaron Lewis, Anna Nalick, Marc Cohn, Lukas Nelson and Promise Of The Real, Lee Rocker, Martha Davis and The Motels, Casey Abrams of American Idol and supported on the VIP Stage for Miranda Lambert and The Zac Brown Band.
