BAROQUE-AN HEARTED TORCH-FOLK OF DOOM. Songs all registered with Songwriter's Association of Canada's "Canadian Song Vault." At the not-so-tender mercies of her capricious lyrical muses, 'Lyra found herself staring at a burgeoning pile of vaguely lurid poems & lyrics. The subject? Requited -and otherwise!- love, lust, rejection and redemption. Disenchanted with political stuff and having exhausted her science writing muse, this vocalist figured she should return to her first love and weave some music to go with the lyric stack, and abandoned tunes penned in a previous life.
