To the five members of Shallow Side, their name is not just two words representing them as a group, but the embodiment of their humble beginnings infused with the knowledge that life can be unforgiving, yet ever present with hope for a better tomorrow. Shallow Side’s music is pounding drums, thundering bass, crushing guitar riffs, fueled by powerful heartfelt vocals that represent their collective experience as a whole. These five magnetically infectious personalities always present their music on stage as if their lives depend on it and to them, it does.
The band’s first single, “Try To Fight It” may sound as though its only related to personal relationships, whereas in truth it was singer Eric Boatright’s message to the band: “I wanted to give them something to let them know I am here for them, and we are all in this together. To just throw everything out there and give it all we've got.”
With two EP's under their belt that were produced by Grammy nominated producer Travis Wyrick and more recently Orlando native, Evan Coffman, Shallow Side has crafted a sound all their own that has permeated the industry. Averaging over 200 shows a year, for over 2 years, Shallow Side has been taking the rock world by storm, one show at a time.
