FATAL DA CANNON
Fatal Da Cannon is that charismatic artist that captures the eye from the second he enters a room and demands attention from the first sound of his voice. Born in the streets of Cambridge, MD (a small, gritty ghetto located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore), Fatal is best defined by his upscale flow, intricate wordplay and distinguished delivery. With the support of his natives and his extended family in West Philadelphia, not only for his lyrics but for his street credibility as well, Fatal is in position to hit the game hard and have a lasting impact for years to come!
Fatal refers to his earliest memories of music through his uncle’s diverse collection of CD’s, mixtapes and cassette tapes ranging from artists including 2Pac, Wu-Tang, The Notorious B.I.G., DJ Clue, Jay-Z, Nas, Beanie Sigel, Scarface, DMX, The Lox and many more. He credits these artists, in addition to the harsh reality of life while growing up for him and his single-parent mother, for his innovative spirit and his diverse foundation as not only a Hip-Hop artist but a Hip-Hop enthusiast as well. It was in Kindergarten when Fatal recalls writing his first rap verse. By the time he reached Elementary School, Fatal had built himself quite a buzz and already had a moderate following of fans. At the tender age of 14 he had became known to his peers as “Killa-J,” his first stage name as a rapper. It was at age 16 when a young “Fatal Da Cannon” would receive his first break by proving his worth in the local battle circuit of his hometown Cambridge, MD and a few notable battles against fellow underground artist in Philadelphia. His undeniable abilities solidified him a position in the city’s (Cambridge, MD) most infamous rap group at the time, “The Usual Suspects.”
Now, as a young, aspiring artist with plans to take his career to the next level, Fatal remains in “grind mode” and is always looking for the next move. With his agresseive yet smooth delivery, distinguished wordplay and “I Don’t Give a F***” attitude, Fatal is for sure to leave listeners in awe and has a bright, promising future in the game!
