Ottawa based Crunchy Flower just recently released their debut album, Volume I. The record hosts 13 songs with a diverse array of rock songs that have strong influences of classic blues rock vibes with riff rock tendencies and a raw rock approach that allows the quartet to let the music breathe.
Fronted by the powerful vocals of Debra Ereaut mixed with Trevor Denault’s melodic riffing and blazing solos helps shape the Crunchy Flower sound. Their sound combines the mystique of classic rock and blues rock to create driving melodic riffs to create a raw rock sound. Backed by a super tight rhythm section with Joe Gaspar on bass, vocals and keys and Bryon Colon on drums and percussion.
The band has enough tightened tracks to perform lengthy sets of original songs that audience members will inevitably find themselves humming for days onward. Equipped with boundless energy and a diverse array of rock stylings, Crunchy Flower provides a fresh live music experience for both the casual music fan as well as the hard core rock aficionado. The band is aiming for Volume II to be available sometime in 2014.
