I am a singer/songwriter/guitar player. I've always considered myself a writer in some way or another, but I didn't find my singing voice until I was 17 and I didn't pick up the guitar until several years after that. I was very fortunate to have been accepted at Humber College for the Vocal Jazz Performance program and that's where I started making a lot of connections. Since then, I have played gigs whenever I got the chance including a spot on the Rogers Cable show: Daytime, The Free Times Cafe, The Montreal Bistro, The Toronto Centre for the Arts, and many other pubs, bars and private venues, mostly in the Greater Toronto Area. Oh yes, and upon a chance meeting with a very talented, black-clad, gentleman cowboy, (Country award-winner, Jimmy Snyder of the Palomino Riders) I played a few sets at Tootsie's Orchid Lounge in Nashville as well!
Unfortunately, I slowed down considerably for a long time... you know, trying to make ends meet and all. However, in September of 2006, I started teaching private singing lessons at The Arts Music School in Aurora where I've made even more great friends and connections. I'm finally working in my field and I find myself performing more than I ever did before! I am also recording again with Ben Jokela which is a real honour and I'm looking forward to having a new, full length CD available very soon.
Thanks to all my "biggest fans" for being so patient with me!
