Nora has surprised many people when she takes to the stage. The slightly quiet and mysterious girl becomes a confident entertainer that owns the stage.
Even before learning the English language Nora had written her first English lyrics at the early age of 9. She's never stopped lyrics writing since and has teamed up with some of the biggest Dutch producers in the Dutch R&B and Pop scene like Tjeerd Oosterhuis for Gio and Guy Frankel (DJ Poison) among others.
Billboard places her in the Top 1500 lyricists of the world in their 2006 Billboard Song Contest.
Her quest to look for producers to team up with as a lyricist has led to a collaboration with the upcoming Dutch producer Gholar Fix, with whom she wrote "Out of the Box".
Even though she's mainly pursuing a career as a lyricist/songrwiter, she has set her sights on starting her own singing career as well. For the first few tracks of her demo Nora has worked with Darryl Anthony (former Az Yet member). In LA they have created the dance track "Burner" and the chill out track "Catch Me" in 2009.
A collaboration with producer and house DJ Mark Taylor (known for writing for MN8 and Mark Morrison) produced a club track called "They're waiting for my beat to drop", which became available on the "Darling Nikki"-soundtrack, distributed by Universal Music/Def Jam, released in 2010 and has been re-released digitally in 2013.
At the end of 2011 the song reached number 12 in the local Reverbnation chart and number 29 in the national Reverbnation chart. The song have climbed the Reverb Nation charts ever since reaching highest positions of number 1 locally and 4 nationally.
In 2013 Nora joined production team Beat The Odds as a lyricist and general manager. The joining of forces made it possible to seek placements together in the genres R&B and Pop. A year and a half later Nora left as a partner in order to be able to offer a wider range of music styles and free up more time to work on her own music.
Nora's currently writing new material in the style of Lady Gaga, Madonna and Kylie Minogue and getting ready to look for a publisher. Check out the website www.noratol.com for more information and updates.
