JC & Laney, as total strangers, were once sitting next to each other on bar stools in 2009 on Whiskey Row in Prescott, AZ. And as only fate would have it, they began singing Bell Bottom Blues in harmony and were immediately hired by the bartender. You can’t make this stuff up!
Now best known for trademark harmonies, memorable original songs and impromptu banter between themselves & with their audience, they perform more than 100 times each year at house concerts, theatres, state fairs, festivals and anywhere else people will hang around and listen. In the meantime they have released 6 CDs from a catalog of over 70 original compositions of Roots/Americana Music, produced by Steve Wood, musical director for over 25 Imax Movies & the Kenny Loggins Group. They have been a little busy.
JC Scott from Long Island, NY cut his teeth in front of crowds during the Classic Rock Era playing guitar & singing with musicians from Arlo Guthrie, Lindsay Buckingham, Kenny Loggins & Weird Al (Oh & Chuck Berry); writing & recording 5 Solo Albums/CD’s before he met Laney.
Laney Greynolds, a powerhouse of emotion you gotta hear to believe, has been singing Traditional Country, Gospel & Rock Music since she could breathe. As lead singer & the driving force with Saddletramp (1988-2009), a well-known AZ classic rock band, she has recorded with many artists over her career, making many new friends at every stop along the way, same as she does now.
You can hear them on Pandora or Spotify or on a dozen other Internet radio stations, and their songs are being performed by touring artists in Europe & in the US. They tour Washington Oregon California, Arizona & Nevada each year.
If you get a chance, they would really like you to drop in to see them at one of their performances so they can be your new best friends.
