Diego Allessandro and Lot 25 / Bio

Diego Allessandro is a singer, songwriter from Monmouth County, New Jersey backed by the powerful Lot 25. Diego has always had a huge spot in his heart for rock and roll music. Having been compared favorably to Bruce Springsteen, and Tom Waits by BlowupRadio.com. Diego released his debut album "Roses and Broken Hearts" in 2013. The Verge at Monmouth University called it an "artistic ode to life struggles" and noted "Ain't Got No Home" as a stand out track.
"Magical" was released in 2013 featuring Diego joined for the first time ever in the studio by Lot 25 along side cameos by Morningside Lane and John "J.T." Bowen.
On Magical Leicester Bands writer Phil S. credited Diego with "stamps his own identity on his chosen genre with a series of strong songs, which ooze blue collar imagery, and come fully loaded with hooks aplenty."

Blessed with an ear for harmonies, arrangements and a gift for writing image driven and thought provoking lyrics. Diego has a vocal range of over four octaves, similar to fellow Jersey Boy Frankie Valli. His knowledge of rock and roll, instruments, and the history of 20th century music is substantial. Diego is on the edge of busting open the doors of the music industry. His work in the studio includes Diego playing drums, guitar, harmonica, bass, organ, keyboards, piano, glockenspiel, various percussion instruments, penny whistle, as well as arranging complicated and amazing harmony vocals and lush, cinematic string sections on synthesizer.

As 2014 approaches Diego and Lot 25 are playing all over the Tri-State Area and steadily gaining a reputation for a being a fun and intense live act not to be missed.
