When you think of New Jersey what do you think of? Is it the vacation spot, the reality TV shows or is it “Our Last Sin?” One of the best, hard rocking, rhythm kicking bands to emerge from the depths of New Jersey, Our Last Sin is on the rise and getting recognition and accolades from the media and fans alike.
As Engineer and Producer Dan Skye (SkyLab Studios) states “Our Last Sin rocks so hard it’s gonna hurt!” …..and, of their hard-hitting rockin’ drummer Kimmee Masi, “Kimmee is THE female version of Keith Moon.” Our Last Sin was formed by Eric Deaver (Lead Vocals / Guitar) and Kimmee Masi (Drums / Vocals) who worked together on another project a few years prior. Deaver and Masi reunited in February 2010 and joined forces with Cory Muller (Bass / Backing Vocals) creating Our Last Sin. After an intensive search for the last remaining band member, they found the perfect fit in Joey Amecangelo (Guitar/Backing Vocals) in May.
Our Last Sin collaborates to create music “with an edge” and has an incredible synergy that appeals to all ages. Their energy is described as “electric and infectious,” putting on a sensational show. The band exploded onto the music scene with their first live performance at the legendary Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ on June 4, 2010, having sold hundreds of advanced tickets. They made a phenomenal first impression and have already developed a strong following. On November 4th, Our Last Sin competed against four other top bands and won Round 2 of the Jersey Shore Metromix Breakthru Contest. Metromix writes “Our Last Sin brought an energy all its own, capturing the attention of the judges and dozens of dedicated fans.”
Our Last Sin released their limited edition demo CD on June 4th. The band is back in the studio working on new material and shooting their first video featuring “Fear Me.” Both their new CD and video are planned for release early 2011.
