I started classical piano when I was 7. For a short time we lived in California where I was exposed to many other kinds of music. At my group piano lessons I was star student at 8. Back to Red Deer, I resumed my classical piano training with the internationally acclaimed pianist & orchestrator Cheryl Cooney all the way up to Grade 9 Toronto Royal Conservatory. Between the years I attended an international improv music camp. I have a feel for dynamics and pick up nuances at once. I've taught piano lessons internationally since I was 16, instilling dynamics and feel for the music to my students. I also participated and coached gymnastics and dance (aerobics, ballet, jazz) & gained appreciation for rhythm and flow. I used to teach elementary school & practice as a nutritionist. Children inspire creativity in me & eating right keeps me strong. I lived in Kenya for 2 years helping found a new school with international curriculum and develop a Kenya Food Guide using local foods. Now, I am developing my music.
