Joe and the Jungle, a sound as if Led Zeppelin teamed up with The White Stripes and John Lennon. The songs all vary in mood, yet share a common bond of catchy hooks and driving melodies, assaulting the boundaries of the modern rock genre from the very start with their critically praised debut album "Broken Amps and Fuzz Boxes."
The band primarily consists of Joe Reilly and The Jungle, two friends who met at their University and formed the band in New York City in 2008 along with an eclectic group of musicians. Joe, who was born up in seclusion in the Swiss Alps while his parents were on a hideout from the law, focuses primarily on the themes of love, war and total independence of the soul, while The Jungle brings out the angst of youth, and the beauty of the analytic dream state.
Like a nuclear bomb hitting downtown LA, so too will Joe and the Jungle rock your foundations to the core.
