Growing up in Cleveland, Ohio Londyn Marie always had a love for music. Surrounded by musicians and singers in her family, as she grew older Londyn began to assist her mother in leading Sunday Morning Worship at her local church. At the age of nine, it was clear that Londyn, already a soloist, had a relentless passion for music. She had a steadfast determination to perfect the art and natural gift that she came to discover. She began piano/vocal lessons in which she quickly excelled at singing and playing music from Samuel Barber to Alicia Keys, and Chopin to Ray Charles.
Londyn is also cousin to Michael McGill of the Dells, who are famous for their hit songs such as “Oh What a Night” and “Stay in My Corner” and later the movie The Five Heartbeats as the story of their lives. Michael has served as a mentor to Londyn as he first-hand understands her drive, passion and determination as well as what it takes to be successful in the music industry.
Passionate about her music career, Londyn is currently a Music/Business Major at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.
At a young age, Londyn began writing, and producing songs. One of her most recent singles “Young Girl” was written to inspire women of all ages. It has a message for women everywhere to accept themselves as who they are, not who someone else expects them to be.
Some of her most recent performances have included Family Unity in the Park at Luke Easter Park, the Ingenuity Fest in downtown Cleveland and The Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland, Ohio. She has also opened for national acts, such as Eric Roberson, Howard Hewett of Shalamar, Morris Day and The Time, The Temptations, and Letisi.
