Originally from the icy, fir tree laden terrain of northern Michigan, Griffin toured full time throughout the upper Midwest in the late 90’s and 2000’s as an acoustic solo performer and as a lead vocalist for the regionally famous cover band "Nod". During that span, Griffin had the opportunity to open for several national acts including “Chicago”, “Bad Company” and "Head East" and performed at major music venues including Milwaukee’s “Summerfest” and "Bradley Center", Green Bay’s legendary “Lambeau field”, and also at popular Midwest ski resorts along with high profile night clubs In Minneapolis, MN.
Griffin has recorded and released two original, full-length solo albums “Turn the Light On” (2004) and “The Long Haul” (2011). Both CD's are currently available online at all major music stores and can be streamed on most internet radio sites including "Pandora" and "Spotify". Or, If you happen to be driving through northern Michigan or Wisconsin, there is a good chance you will hear one of the singer/songwriter's tunes on your car radio.
Currently Griffin resides in Orlando, FL where he continues to perform as a solo artist and as a member of the band "Micah & the Reason".
