Unkempt, is a five piece metal band from Lakeland, Fl, and in 2007 made their first of three independent releases. Over the years, Unkempt has developed a loyal fan base throughout Florida playing countless live shows and becoming a notable name in the Tampa Metal Scene. Unkempt has shared the stage with such heavyweights as Devildriver, Whitechapel, Darkest Hour, Obituary and many many more continually working to improve their level of play. The band's fundamental beliefs of family and brotherhood has manifested itself into a loyal fan-base transcending the typical stigmas of genre and demographics. Unkempt leaves it all on the stage, melding metal, thrash, melodic grindcore, progressive, and even blues stylings with a brutality all its own.
