(Born in 1971, Reading, UK) Douglas E Powell is a songwriter now living on the south west coast of the United Kingdom. He writes songs in the folk, alt-folk style with a hint of americana.
When recording or performing as a solo artist Douglas uses only acoustic guitar, harmonica and vocal.
His live performances are intensely charged with deeply personal lyrics over gritty and beautifully simplistic guitar work.
