Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, raised in the Alphabet City section of the Lower East Side of Manhattan, Pabey has transformed his life's struggles into the fuel needed to achieve his, "Personal Legend."
His Urban Latino Singer Songwriter style was influenced by a unique medley of artists including Biggie Smalls, Bill Withers & Hector Lavoe.
Accepted into the highly sought after, School for the Performing Arts, in NYC, Pabey initially had ambitions of being a stage performer. He couldn't keep his vocal prowess a secret, however and was soon encouraged to further develop his musical style.
Before featuring along side former Bad Boy, platinum selling recording artist, Black Rob, Pabey was featuring along side a different cultural icon... Burger King. Cutting his teeth writing jingles set him well on the path to pursuing his goals.
Pabey released his first Mix Tape in the South, titled, "Legend to be." It was well received in many parts of Florida and NYC & laid the ground work for a greater ambition - Global Recognition, Mainstream Success.
Encouraged by the success he had found in the South, Pabey returned to Alphabet City in 2009 with the intention of making his presence felt. Since his return to the Lower East Side he has written and recorded many songs that will be featured on his upcoming Mix Tape and Album.
Pabey crossed paths with filmakers John Stefanik and Rico Kinnard. They collaborated to produce the video for Pabey's single, SEXTING. Immediately following that production, Pabey went straight to work collaborating on a new track titled, "SH*T" from Black Rob's new album, "Game Tested Streets Approved", released in July of 2011.
More collaborations are in store from Black Rob and Pabey as well as other major artists.
