Eleanora is an eclectic mix of various musical styles and flavors. It is the result of a collaboration between classically trained and self-taught musicians.
The daughter of a professional singer and sound engineer, Leah Woods studied clarinet at Interlochen Arts Academy, and was a member of the Michigan All-State band for two years. After being told by her professors at Wayne State University that she didn't have what is takes to become a concert clarinetist, she turned her sights to the vibrant landscape of Independent folk music in Detroit, spearheaded by her then neighbor Blair. Calling on talents left to her by her mother she began singing and learning any instruments she could get her hands on. She has since has performed as a solo musician and a part of The Urban Folk Collective as well as Blair and The Boyfriends, Forget, Dutch Pink, and is featured in a Jazz Quartet with Nathan Montgomery
Scottie Stone is one of Detroit's more recognizable drummers performing with The Rogue Satellites, Marco Polio and The New Vaccines, WCTMGold! The Pupils and Blair and The Boyfriends.
Julia Stephenson, who is also the daughter of a singer, has also performed with Blair and The Boyfriends, Forget and Dutch Pink. An extremely talented mixed media artist...
James Dunstan has spent the more recent years training to be a sound engineer Studios (and a damn good one!), graduating from the Recording Institute of Detroit and interning at Tempermill Studios, but sometimes puts the headphones down to pick up the bass.
