Tina Rae grew up in the small town of Aurora, CO, and found her voice in church at the young age of five. Throughout her childhood and teenage years she performed in various choirs, singing soprano in her school Show Choirs, The Singing Youth of Denver, and in Musical's and City wide concerts at venues like Boettcher Hall, local malls, fairgrounds and the Mayor's Mansion of Denver. She moved with her family in the middle of her senior year to El Paso, TX where she Lettered in Choir in less than six months competing in State and City wide competitions.
After dropping out of the music scene for a couple of years, she reappeared in Nashville, TN in 2007. "I have decided to follow my dream of becoming a respected member of the music community", said Tina, when asked what she wanted out of all the hard work it takes to "make it" in the music business. "I don't know where my career will lead, but I truly believe that if I keep on pressing forward, great things are comin!"
Tina is currently working on many different projects. She is busy working on her solo career, and currently in the studio recording her newest song entitled "NO" that she co-wrote with Randy Stokes and her husband Matt Caveness. Jay Elizando, with Music Vision Group, is producing the song with David Spires as guest musician.
She has been with The Music Vision Group based in Madison, Tennessee since it began 5 years ago, working closely with Producer Jay Elizando and fellow Country Artist, Steve Adkins, along with many other musicians who contribute their time and effort into creating some great original songs.
Tina Rae can sing anything from Classical Opera to Rock & Roll and everything in between! She is a member of Soul Choir, a God based Ministry that blesses our homeless population and prison population on a weekly basis here in Nashville. Tina is also an accomplished Demo singer working with nashvillesongdemos.com, Owner David Spires. When David is not on the road with Craig Campbell playing his steel, he is home in Nashville running a successful Demo Recording Studio and calls upon Tina when he needs a Carrie Underwood, or Martina McBride sound!
Currently you can catch Tina performing live with a local band called The DotCommies! "This is a great cover band with a good mix of 90's songs and a bunch of energy", said Tina, after their last performance at The Attic in Downtown Nashville. "We can really pack a room, and its a blast with the energy that we get from the audience!" You can find their show schedule on Tina's fan page on Facebook and at http://www.reverbnation.com/TinaRae.
