Greg Blake / Bio

Greg Blake is an award-winning vocalist and guitarist from Davis Creek, West Virginia who now lives in Conifer, Colorado, a "bedroom community" nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountain Front Range just a few miles southwest of Denver. He is the lead singer for the high-energy, explosive progressive bluegrass band, Jeff Scroggins & Colorado.
Greg just finished work in the studio with Grammy-winning musician/producer, Sally Van Meter, on his very first, long overdue solo project, "Heart & Home"! Helping with this what will no doubt be an influential album of the year, is a star-studded cast of musicians and vocalists: Claire Lynch, Laurie Lewis, Blaine Sprouse, Jeff Brown, Mark Schatz, John Reischman and Jeff Scroggins to name a few!
When off the road and not touring nationally, you will also find Greg teaming up with great bluegrass/folk singer-songwriter, K.C. Groves (founding member, Uncle Earl), for an occasional evening performance of originals and classic country guy/girl duets that will leave you wanting to know when and where you can hear more. You just never know where you may find Greg's guitar work or vocals cropping up -- if not with Scroggins or Groves, he'll be sitting in with a local group or filling in on stage with nationally recognized superstars!
