In a world of frustrating mediocrity, in the gray lonely fog that has darkened the land, there is a light shining in the distance. A Crimson Haze...
Crimson Storm is more than just a band. It is a family, a message, a light shining into the darkness. It is a living, breathing entity...
In a time, a couple of decades ago when musicians were masters of their weapons. Front Men had serious force and range. Drummers had huge power and charisma. Guitarists were composing and playing the most impressive, virtuoso, monster guitar riffs and leads the world had ever seen. Bassists shined as stars, and loud as thunder in the stormy sky. Not one, had a lazy station. It wasn't considered to be an option. Songs had depth, passion and heart. Those days are alive again. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *Crimson Storm was forged in a very cold and dark place. Like a piece of raw steel found in a dark, empty, lonely field. Found in the most unlikely of places. Yet behold, it shines more brightly than anyone would ever expect.
Crimson Storm began with a vision when founder lead singer Paul Ames was just 18 years old. Crimson Storm had to survive with him through 20 years of hell to get where it is today, its not only a miracle Crimson Storm is a decade long series of miracles. The first song was written in 1995 in a very dark place. In 2000, Paul formed the first incarnation of Crimson Storm. With huge bands I grew up admiring, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Metallica and Stryper. The guys that end up on the bus are not always the same guys that started in the garage. Today, the recent incarnation of Crimson Storm, after years of struggles and pain God has blessed us with not only the greatest musicians I have ever worked with, most of all, great people who love and who care deeply for the vision of what Crimson Storm represents, a force to be reckoned with...
There is a storm coming. Can you feel it? Can you hear the sound of thunder in the distance? The sound of the rain beginning to fall. The rain is as red as blood!. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
