Elishema is an artist/performer on a humbling mission to inspire and empower all those willing to listen with an open mind, and absorb the positive and motivational lyrics within her music. Elishema has created music with the intent of making listeners not only want to jam, but also inspire them to be happier, stronger, and wiser.

As a performer, Elishema is no stranger to the stage, she has wowed many audiences with her dynamic and theatrical performances spanning from small pubs to large convention centers with thousands of people in the audience, and her journey has just began. With her newly released independent album “New Beginnings” Elishema is ready to take center stage, and share her compelling vocal ability and energetic performance skills with the world through a high impact musical production, that is not only entertaining but enlightening.

Elishema’s music is inspired by artist like Mariah Carey, Mary J Bilge, just to name a few. They have influenced her towards becoming this R&B, Pop, Hip-Hop sensation that she strive to be. She has been performing since age 5 and has participated in many talent showcases, and countless gigs singing and dancing while she attended the Sherwood Conservatory of Music in downtown Chicago.

Elishema played various instruments in her music experience such as the saxophone, clarinet and the piano in the various stages of her development. She sang in the Calumet high school choir which led to her performing at many venues like the Chicago Theater, and performing with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, among many other notable events. She also received a standing ovation for her rendition of fantasia “I believe” at her graduation.

In high school Elishema encountered many music promoters and worked with many managers to develop and promote her craft, but nothing commercial grow from it. She eventually teamed up with her present manager and father and together they formed Inway Records an independent label, and Arizingstar Productions. And from this came many great musical creative works including her latest album New Beginnings which was released Feb of 2011, while single’s from her album was played throughout the world on various radio station, and her second single “Sophisticated Man” receive significant airplay on 106.3 FM on The Family Affair Show with Shelby Moore which aired on Saturdays in Chicago. The New Beginnings album contains a combination of feel good up-tempo dance tunes, heartfelt ballads, and sultry grooves, in between, with lyrics relating to overcoming hardship, finding strength, courage, and being true to oneself.

Elishema is having a great time and has found her calling. And has much to offer the world by way of music.
