DRILL was formed from the remnants of the early 2000's powerhouse band Drill 187...Using their 2003 critically acclaimed first full-length album "The Faceless Majority", the band became a Southeast regional touring juggernaut, performing in 23 different states and became a media favorite with literally 100's of national rave reviews...With a national radio campaign and distribution in place, Drill 187 was nearly catapulted to the next level, signing major management in 2002 with Rick Sales(SLAYER) and then again in 2003 with John Tovar(MARILYN MANSON) and very nearly inking a major label record deal...However, as the boys from Drill 187 can now tell you, everything comes with a price...All the success they were seeing had begun creating monetary issues and a line-up that seemed to waver at times due to the stress...Internal strife and mental exhaustion finally caused their untimely break-up in early 2005.
Now, after reforming in 2011 to do some reunion shows, the band had so much fun, they felt they had something left to prove...With several key "Faceless" era members now back in the present line-up, and dropping the dated sounding "187" from their name, DRILL is back on the scene again! With renewed ambition, writing strong new music and the same meticulous DIY attitude that took them to the top before, DRILL is once again a band on the rise and coming soon to a stage near you!!
