Emerging from the Seacoast of New Hampshire with a sound that is as original as the band members themselves. Todo Bien’s blend of roots, rock, and reggae glide through solid grooves with an uplifting vibe of feel good lyrics.
Todo Bien consists of Skip Brunette (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), John Coretto (upright bass), Johann Robledo (lead guitar, background vocals), Aaron "AP" Pearsall (drums), and Eric German (percussion). They have built a loyal fan base throughout the Seacoast and beyond by performing extensively throughout NH, MA, NY, NJ, VT, CT and Maine.
Following extensive gigging throughout the summer and fall of 2009, the band began pre-production of their first record. The self titled album was recorded at Wellspring Sound Studios in Acton, MA. Todo Bien’s first full length record was released on July 24, 2010 to a packed house at the legendary Stone Church in Newmarket NH.
Throughout the following year, Todo Bien continued touring in support of their debut record. The record was well received and caught the attention of many new fans. “Todo Bien’s self titled album is an entertaining, incredibly happy venture into the world of New England independent rock. The album ... paints a playful, reggae inspired portrait of music ... [with] melodies that are difficult not to bop along to” (Samantha Pearson, The New Hampshire). The record also gained the band a People's Choice nomination in the Favorite Band category and a nomination for Best in Folk/Rock/Reggae of the 2010 Seacoast Spotlight Awards. They were also featured in October of 2010 on Boston 92.5 The River's Homegrown Showcase
In between a rigorous show schedule and an east coast tour, Todo Bien put the finishing touches on their second record, “Will To Be…,” released in fall, 2011. Recorded in South Berwick, Maine at Thundering Sky Studios under the sound direction of Chris Magruder and John Coretto. "Will To Be..." delivers a snapshot of their live performance with high energy groove-based roots rock entwined with reggae rhythms under catchy melodies and smooth vocal harmonies. The album received stellar reviews. It was named the Favorite local CD of 2011 in The Wire magazine, and again earned Todo Bien a nomination in the People's Choice nomination in both the Favorite Band and Best Folk/Roots/Reggae categories of the 2011 Seacoast Spotlight Awards. While gaining momentum on their tour and with a bright local spotlight on them Todo Bien was asked to support 311 and Slightly Stoopid at Meadowbrook Cellular Pavillion in Gilford, NH. They were also featured three more times on Boston 92.5 The River's Homegrown Showcase.
While touring in support of "Will To Be..." Todo Bien created a number of new tunes, reinvented some of their classics, and recorded several of their rockin' live shows. Todo Bien released a live album on June 8th of 2013 which is sure to bring their fans right back to whatever favorite live show they have attended along the way.
Todo Bien sums it up best by saying, “We stand behind what our band name represents. We want to send a positive vibe through our music and create a performance that makes our audience smile and move."
