Kris Adams / Bio

Kris Adams has just released her third CD, "Longing," (Jazzbird Records) in collaboration with trumpeter/arranger, Greg Hopkins. Kris has performed and given clinics in New England, New York, Los Angeles, Brazil, Germany and Italy and has shared the stage with Joe Lovano, Wayne Escoffery, Lee Musiker, Cameron Brown, Billy Drummond, Bill Pierce and Harvie S. She currently teaches at Berklee College of Music and is author of the book “Sing Your Way Through Theory” (Hal Leonard).

She released her first CD, in 1999, "This Thing Called Love", and followed up with a second release, "Weaver of Dreams", in 2002.
