Born in Tucson, Arizona and raised in the Mexican side of the Mexican/American border in the Sonoran desert, Renee Goust lived a lonely mostly friendless childhood in her hometown of Nogales. A devoted piano student since elementary school, Goust moved on to classical vocal training at the UdG School of Music in Guadalajara, Mexico. In 2007, she moved to New York City and has there lived since, playing around Manhattan and Brooklyn. She is currently working on her first LP, "Strung Out," a 5 guitar self-recorded album and live act.
