Jim Parker / Bio

Jim Parker is a singer/songwriter living in Whitby, Ontario, Canada. His long career in music has seen him touring with rock and roll band Sans Harbour in the 70's; starring as the Polk-A-Roo on the live version of TVO's "Polk-a-dot Door" TV show; writing for television; puppeteering and appearing as a regular guest on CBC's "Mr. Dressup" as well as touring with that iconic Canadian television star and releasing several records for pre-schoolers. His main love has always been Rock and Roll music however and starting in 1997 he began releasing recordings of his music in a more singer/songwriter style with his CD, FROM AWAY. In 2011 he followed this up with BANANA MOON and in 2013, TOMORROW'S YESTERDAY. As time has gone on, his writing has begun reverting back to the "harder" style of music he has always been attracted to and has culminated in the release of his new CD, FEARLESS.

This is a collection of 15 true Rock and Roll songs in the style of music of the 80's but with a new and fresh feel. From the thunderous opening drums of "Too Beautiful" to the final fade of "If Tomorrow Ever Comes" this record is packed with great songs and memorable lyrics and will be a real joy for fans of great guitar solo's to listen to!

Jim continues to write and record and is already begun planning and writing his next record!
