“Remain Calm “, a phrase used to remind people of a crisis or mayhem. Do they stay calm how can you in such a situation. Remain calm is a band that resembles the same mood. it is hard to "remain calm", this is exactly why the music the band and the shows have made the band and the name a perfect match. Over the past 3 years Curtis Brown (bass & Vocals) ,Cam Brooks (Guitar & Vocals), and Jon Jordan (Drums & Vocals) have traveled around the Florida music scene spreading the word of remain calm a high energy sound , that when described has a little of everything from punk rock, metal, and surf dub rock. Remain calm has become the go to band in the South Florida area for parties associated with the extreme sports and fishing industry's. With there music and band paraphernalia, have created an image that is fresh and marketable. The First Cd (Demo) was written and produced by remain calm and recorded at dungeon studios in miami Florida. The 9 song cd Adrift the first of many yet to come from the band has had two songs played on the radio station 103.1 the buzz, "Atmosphere" and "Worlds not ready". Remain Calm can be found on myspace, Facebook,reverberation, and itunes. Remain calm was founded in 2007 with Curtis Brown, Cam Brooks, and Jon Jordan. Cam and Curtis friends since middle school, in 2007 decided to link back up and form a band. Bouncing around material the first act was called "fatstash" (2006). When Jon came into the band the name was later changed to Remain Calm . Jon had been friends with Curtis since high school and been playing drums with Curtis in their previous band "Counteract". The Project strives on now becoming more aggressive and full sounding with a new album in the works and new drummer EL George this is going to bring some chaotic flare to the sound of which we know Remain Calm.
