The three men that comprise the newest up and coming hip-hop/R&B group R.T.T. are no amateurs when it comes to recording and performances. The two artists have been making music since 2003 and are steadily making moves to become reputable names in the Music Industry. Together the two have released over four mixtapes in the local Delaware Valley area that have hundreds of downloads. The two of them pride themselves on creating music that stands out from what others may expect and all the while still capturing the essence of the genres they both love. Ques Mark a student of Full Sail University Online Undergraduate Program and a Freelance Graphic Designer is no stranger to the industry working with Artist like Kee-Kee Palmer and Miguel. Yet while Ques Mark is doing that he is still remaining humble and steadily focusing on honing his craft of becoming a greater Musician. Isaac Harris is also experienced in the Music and entertainment world being a former DJ for local radio Station 91.3 WVUD and even being featured on websites like Delawarehiphop.com. Together the Two have performed all over the east Coast and even at local Delaware Staples like the East End Café, Mojo 13, The Bob Carpenter Center and Wilmington’s Chase Center. The two artists have an estimated fan populous of over 29,000 people and that number is still growing with the help of videos on Youtube some even having over 10,000 views. It’s no wonder why these artists are the next hottest thing coming out of Delaware. The name R.T.T. exemplifies what these two artist plan to do, which is Rise to The Top. It is not just a group name to them but rather an ideology that every individual can relate with. The mindset is to Persevere through any adversity until ultimately you’re the best. The commitment these two artists put into every song and performance shows why they call themselves R.T.T. And that is because these artist take every chance possible to improve, excel, Escalate and for lack of a better term “Grind” all to ensure they are Rising to the Top.
Ruben Grullon (DJ Mestizo) is from Manhattan, NY studying at the University of Delaware. Music has always been apart of his life. He started DJing in February of 2012 and when he was 3 he began playing the classical violin and is still playing today. He does mostly live DJing however is also a producer for the up and coming hip hop group Rising to the Top (R.T.T.) Finally, one of the most important things he values is his mixed ethnicity. Being both Dominican and White has had a major influence, hence the name DJ Mestizo.
