Mark started playing guitar out of his older brothers need for a rhythm guitar player so he could play lead guitar! Mark plays only by ear finding formal guitar lessons not to his liking at an early age. His interest in many genres of music varies as he seems to be into his own "demo" type songs at this time. "Recording at home for relaxation and enjoyment is where its at for me right now". Mark has played with a few bands. The Lost Wind band playing country rock covers, rock and original music. This band "evolved" into a band called the Rockaholics. The Rockaholics fell into a original pop punk culture. Mostly playing around the Jersey Shore, the Rockaholics also played some NYC venues as well as the famous Dirt Club. The Rockaholics were a staple band at The Brighton Bar, Long Branch, NJ as well as Clarence Clemmon's Big Mans West in Red Bank, NJ. The Rockaholics headlined as well as were the warm up band for such bands as Shrapnel and Sonny Kenn and many others. Life happened and two children and years later music still is in Mark's blood. The "demo" type recordings are an example of Mark's love of raw sound and true music. "There is a place for everything in music. My preference right now,for me, is to just keep it basic and put it out there!"
