Annemarie Neff hails from the small ranching community of Ruby Valley, NV. Growing up on a cattle ranch, Annemarie lived the authentic country lifestyle of a working cowgirl. She went on to pursue her passion of music at Snow College and The University of Utah. Annemarie studied classical voice and received her Bachelor's of Music in Choral Music Education in 2009, and her Master's of Music Education in 2012, both from the University of Utah. Annemarie's musical interests range from singing opera to playing and singing Bluegrass music. She was the lead guitar player of the Utah based Bluegrass group, The Pretty Darns. After 3.5 years of playing and singing with The Pretty Darns, she decided to move to Nashville, TN to pursue her dreams of singing and songwriting. Her unique style stems from the many genres that she has drawn inspiration from, including, Jazz, Opera, Country, Folk, Bluegrass, and Disney. Annemarie loves riding horses, writing songs, telling jokes, and looking for spare change.
