Below The Zone performs original rock songs, and cover songs from artists such as, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Shinedown, Lynyrd Skynyrd and many more.
The Undecided started out as a summer project between guitarist/songwriter Andrew Craig and drummer Mark Herrington. They sought help from other musicians with common tastes to put the band together. The first musician chosen was guitarist Jace Bastian. He had been in musical projects with Mark in the past. Along with Jace came guitarist Rob Beavers, who had previously worked on original and cover music with Andrew in years before.
With Andrew, Jace, Mark, and Rob all on board, the next step was to start the search for a singer that could meld with them, and also enjoy the styles of music that they ideally wanted to bring together.
After having multiple leads fall through the group received a call from Kevin Bruns, a local musician who possessed the required diverse musical interests and the skill for the spot. In Early August of 2012, Kevin officially was part of the band. By late August they were playing at local venues.
On November 18th the band proceeded to go into the Backthird Audio to record. In order to record as many songs as possible the group decided that a live set up and recording would be more ideal. In fact 13 out of the 16 songs where recorded in one take. They felt that the live set up would show that they wouldn't rely on studio magic like many of today’s artists. The Undecided’s first (Demo) Album "Live at Backthird Audio" was released December 10th 2012. In April 2015 the name of the band was changed to "Below The Zone."
