I am originally from Townville PA. My intro to music was like most folks...got dragged to church and forced to sing hymns. Hated gospel music for the most part but loved music. A music Teacher named Dan Hallet in Townville apparently saw some potential in me and pushed me to learn to control my voice and even taught me to have a natural tremello that blew people away. Since Dan was the same man who taught Jeannie Seely to sing in the same classroom I guess I was in good hands.
Over the years it always seemed like a new roadblock stood in the way of me going anywhere with the music. The biggest blow coming from Geffin Records who flat turned me out because I didn't want to switch to hard rock. They wanted me...just not my music.
In 1999 I recorded Wall Around My Heart and 9 other tracks. A technology disaster (tech screwed up) resulted in all 10 tracks being destroyed at the studio but I had taken a CD with "wall" on it to try to impress a girl. It ended up being the only survivor and the studio went under before I could remaster the others.
My other album that did survive was a full Christmas Album that was done as a gift to friends family and supporters that year. Tracks from it will go up closer to Christmas. Thanks for listening and stay tuned.
