AL Anthony. Born in New York, on 5-30-56. Raised in The Bronx, moved to California when I was only 4 yrs old. I grew up in the City of Cudahy California, went to School at Elizabeth Street School. Went from class to class with my guitar playing songs. Drove the teacher's nuts! lol. Had my first job at the Century Catering in Lynwood, CA. I loaded up Catering Trucks, and in between the Truck Schedules, I would sit around the ice house, playing my guitar and writing songs, and use to be kidded all the time, by the other employee's, they would get on the PA speaker, and announce to all, that ELVIS was in the building. Well, I wish I was 25% of the King! But, it just pushed me to continue. At the ripe old age of 14 yrs. old, I discovered Country Music, this was just after my mother discovered she was getting a headache from the music I first discovered, Rock n Roll. Been in love with Country Music ever since. My First album, Country Girl was realized in 1993, when I had a friend of mine, Clarke Rohn, owner of Red Hill Records, in La mirada, CA ask me to record. It was a lot of fun to record, and get the record out. Then there was a lot of down time, as family needs came about, we raised our beautiful daughters in Downey, CA and after they were grown, we purchased a home in Apple Valley, CA. It was there, that I started up my music again, and went to a song writers show case, at the Cadillac Ranch, in Apple Valley, CA I met a fine gentlemen, name of Pat Woertink, Legends Gold Records. Through him, I was blessed with my New Album, Montgomery Nights, and thanks to the talents of the musicians of the group, Southern Spirit, and a Gentlemen name ot TIm Forsythe, and a Mr. Dave Cimino, the album was done. And I'm now currently working on my new Project, which will be an album, with many of my new songs. Well, that's all about me. I love Country Music, and the fans. There is never a better fan, then the Country fan, Now, I am embarking on another project, with the talents of the beautiful Mrs. Rebecca Olson, her and I, Co-wrote a song, called (I'm Cryin'), it is one of the songs on the new Album.
