In 2011 she met drummer Richard Duran who helped her form an acoustic cover band. She says, "This isn't your cookie-cutter type cover band. We're putting our own spin on songs from artists such as The Cure, Blackstreet, The Marcels, and Amy Winehouse. I stay away from boxing myself in to specific genres, I can do it all."
