Stereo Dig began as the brainchild of high school friends Adam Lawing and Jon Kirkendoll. The pair decided to form a band that would allow them to explore their interests in both indie rock and electronic music. Stereo Dig was born. After writing a handful of original songs and establishing a direction for the group, the duo recruited drum instructor and Chattanooga native Zach Turner (who also moonlights as a member of Chattanooga street performers “The Funkabuckets”) and MTSU Recording Industry program alum Sean Weldon to round out the group on bass.
After nearly two years together changes were made after our good friends Sean and Adam moved on to different things in life. They were replaced by Eric Parham on bass and Ryan Hitt on Guitar. They truly have helped drive the Stereo Dig sound to the next level. With the smooth guitar stylings of Ryan, filling in the gaps with tasty riffs…And Eric getting groovy with his unique style.
We are currently working on finishing our first full length album to be released later this fall. Hoping to get some teaser tracks up for you all to enjoy very soon. Check out our show schedule and come see us rock the night away.
