The Flat Stanleys came into being spontaneously. It was inevitable. Dee Dee Ramone's false teeth fell into a portable toilet hole, and his saliva mixed with the excrement of a thousand punk rockers.
This unholy mixture festered underground for years in a landfill owned by John Wayne's nephew's pool cleaner's girlfriend's son. It achieved self realization in 2011 and decided to crawl up to the surface for some sun and fun.
Upon emerging from the dirt and garbage from whence it came, it divided itself into two separate creatures, which immediately began to build instruments and costumes out of the trash and debris they were surrounded by.
These two creatures decided to play music out of sheer appreciation for being. Listen closely, oh humans, and you will hear the amazing, grateful sounds of The Flat Stanleys.
